A Sleep Program Customized to Your Parenting Style

Many children don’t learn to sleep independently until later in childhood, if at all, and clinical research studies show that childhood sleep deficit is a widespread issue. Since the birth of my daughter and her own struggles with sleep, it has been my mission to help families teach their children the skills they need for independent sleep.

With the core belief that proper sleep habits make for healthy children who are happy, curious, energetic, and eager to learn, the Sleep Sense™ program is informed by studies from the best pediatric sleep researchers. There are no inflexible sleep philosophies or rigid rules to follow, because the primary goal is to find a solution that meets your child’s unique needs.

While most books and programs dealing with child sleep issues take philosophical stands (largely based on whether or not to let their baby ‘cry it out’), I believe that your child’s sleep is more important than my personal view on the subject. That’s why this method places so much emphasis on accommodating different parenting styles. The bottom line is that you, as a parent, need to be comfortable with the plan in order for it to work for your child.

No two babies are the same, and an emphasis on personal sleep programs mean that your family’s specific needs are front and center. The Sleep Sense™ program takes leading sleep research and breaks it down into a step-by-step program that works for any parenting style.

Measure your success by identifying benchmarks and goals to work towards.

No, you shouldn’t expect your child to sleep 12 hours on the first night, although it does happen! I will tell you what to expect along the way.
